We seem to have more XJS entrants every year and I'd like to strengthen the JOCO judge's knowledge of these models. Does any one know of any good originality books? Does anyone have any ideas on where to get info on the changes over the years? Who's the guru on these? Is anyone writing a judges guide? Help.

Doug and Pascal:

It sure would be easier to write a guide now than to wait until the newest of these is 25+ old like we're doing now with the E-Types. These are going to be very desirable cars in 10 to 20 years - they are already.

congratulations... what year/body/engine ? post a pic in the gallery...

Stew is right, XJS class is growing every year and spanning 22 years, there's been a ton of changes... not easy... it's fun to judge since you really see the evolution from mid 70s and how ground breaking it was then, till the mid 90s...

Stew, since no one else has answered yet.....

I just bought one of these babies so that I wouldn't be the only Jag-guy on the internet (or in JCNA) with only ONE Jaguar !!! :-)

I've ordered a number a XJ-S books to do my own research. This won't qualify me as an expert and I certainly can't write a guide, but I'll assemble and pass along some tidbits as I come across them, for the general edification of the group.

Cheers
