Help! Any Ideas to raise seat height? Wife Cant see short objects over dash. . Eg _5 year-old kid.

Need 2-3" XJ Seat cushion "Bolster" for my 4' 10" wife....

A great deal depends on how much of an "aesthetic match" you're looking for and how much you are willing to spend. If you're trying to get something covered in leather and that has the same design aesthetic as the interior it will be expensive.

My suggestion would be for your wife to go to see several local upholsterers, whether automotive or conventional, and try out various types of foam to see what gives her sufficient support with the necessary comfort. This is going to be key to the whole process.

After that you need to design the shape and choose the covering, and it's the covering that could catapult the price into the stratosphere. Making a custom cushion, which is what you're doing, is not all that expensive. What you choose to cover it in might be.

You'll also need to try a rough demo of the material and thickness in the car with her seated on it. It's entirely possible that something that gives her sufficient boost to see over the dash will then make it impossible for her feet to reach the pedals.
