Where can I purchase and what is the actual name of the tool for adjusting the mixture on SC Carbs?
The tool is a shaft with a hole thru the center for a hex wrench. The shaft has a dog on one end that engages a slot on the diaphragm/ needle assemble. You remove the oil damper and insert the tool.

Donald JCNA has a tool loan program and we have that tool. BUT if your car is a 1968 it does not use that method. Unless your carbs are from a later car the tool is of no use to you. It seems that perhaps you are also using the incorrect service material. Let us know .
