I am having difficulty finding someone in the Chicago (Crystal Lake) area to competently remount my windshield and back window on my 85 XJS. I had them both done once 8 months ago and both leak today. Most glass companies I contact won't touch the job. Any suggestions?

Have you contacted a local Jaguar dealer? Not necessarily to have them do it. But they may be able to recommend a local glass shop that does that kind of work on older Jaguars. Most dealers don't want to touch a 20 y.o. car, so they may be willing to pass along the name of a shop that can do the glass for you. Otherwise, try to locate a private shop in your area that specializes in Jaguars. Try contacting Bill Terry at Terry's Jaguar. They are in Illinois and may be able to help or recommend someone.
