Well I went to my local autozone to purchase tranny fluid and was presented with 3 different transmission setups each having a different fluid. They were borg-warner, HZ and another one with a fancy name (forgot the name). But my car is a 1986 XJS v12 (not convertible) automatic. The car was originally a baltimore car but now resides in California. Any ideas or recommendations? And I know this may sound funny. But where do you put the tranny fluid in at? Just want to make sure it is like other cars. :D

Yours has a "TurboHydromatic 400" transmission and uses Dexron III transmission fluid

The fluid goes in through the tranmission dipstick tube....remove the stick and pour the fluid in using a funnel
