Hi,
Some of you may be familiar with my car, but for those that aren't it is a XK 140 with several E-type bits, including the independant rear suspension, and front E-type suspension uprights, and steering rack. As such I was previously under the impression that I would only be able to use E-type 15" wheels, as opposed to the original 16" size. I since have learned that I should be able to put 16" on without issue. My problem with this is, that 16x5" (or is it narrower?) doesn't leave much in the way of tire choices. The performance grade 15" tires are a very low profile, and my car sits pretty high to have small tires. I'm wondering if anyone makes a 16x6 or 16x7 that will fit on the Jag knockoff hub. That way it would look more correct, as well as give me a wider range of tire choices, and possibly a little better performance also.
Anyone know if these exist?
Thanks,
B. Shriver

Re.: Wheels
Check with British Wire Wheels, etc... daytons make wire wheel in a variety of sizes including 17x9 ( I think ) that are very tempting... :-)

Thanks for the note. I'll probably check with Terry's on this, as I have it from a good source (David Hinton) that Bill is the guy to talk to about Daytons. Now that I know it is a good possibility (even 17"...).
