A few weeks/months ago, I notice that my baby began to start instantly when warm. No cranking to get the gas delivered. This is not normal. It doesn't do that after it's set overnight (engine cold), only when warm. This has not changed. However, recently after it starts (when warm), it idles fine but when I try to back-out of a parking space and/or begin down the road, it sputters and dies. I can restart it (instantly) and evenutally get it going. Once I get it going, it purrs like a kitten. No problems taking off from traffic lights, etc. until I park it for a few minutes. It acts as though it's flooded. I suspect that the fuel delivery system is not shutting down properly or I have a relay stuck or something of that nature. I just don't know exactly what/where to check. All help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Art H.

FYI, I found the problem. It got worse the following day, by the way. I could't use reverse at all! Whenever I put it in reverse, the engine would sputter and die. The problem was the bellows coming out of the Air Flow Meter. It had a crack in it about 3" long. I changed that out and it runs better than it has for quite some time. Good kitty.
