I started my Ser III today and then turned on the headlights. The volt meter went up to just about maximum. It usually starts in the negative right after starting the car, then slowly goes to charge and then returns to normal. Today it went up just about to the 16v (red) zone and stayed there for a few minutes before I shut off the car. I know that these gauges are often a bit inaccurate, but I wonder if I have a problem to think about. I have new headlights in the car and I haven't driven at night since they were installed, so I switched them on today just to be sure they are OK. The car is running fine but the Volt gauge read higher than I remember seeing it register. Any suggestions?
