I have a 1993 Jag XJS, build date 10/92, VIN last six 186053. I need to replace both transmission cooling lines that run from the transmission to the radiator.
Can anyone tell me how difficult this is and do I have to drop the exhaust manifold to remove and replace the lines?

"Found out it's relatively easy to remove the lines. On a 93 XJS anyway all you have to do is remove the chrome heat shield over the exhaust manifolds and the lines are just clipped on. They justvpop out of the clip that's behind the rear manifold. Good to find something easy instead of difficult."
I stand corrected. You still have to remover the downpipes from the manifolds and possibly the power steering pump. I'm going to take it to my mechanic tomorrow and let him finish it.
