I did not receive much information on a change in spark plugs to a newer hi-tech model - how about tires. I see that in the new production model there was quite a discussion on them.

My tires are nearing the end of their life. Does anyone out there have any suggestions. So far, after the originals, I have gone through Goodyear, Michelin, and Bridgestone. If you have specifics, I would sure appreciate it. Also, if you have any thoughts on an upgrade of the spark plugs that would help too.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your help, there is nothing like experience! RER

HI Mr R E,
spark plugs I would recomend are the NGK V Groove platinum, they are good and very well priced, they have two good areas where the park jumps from rather than just one.. set to proper gap for your model as per handbook...........
Just a week ago someone was commenting I believe on a specific tyre, check earlier forum questions , sounded very happy with their choice and was going to run them @ around 35 PSI, this pressure seems to be quite common thesedays , and works well for quick manouverings............ Good Luck...... Tire Rack is the place to buy I believe.....

The local tax collectors frown on doubling the speed limits so last time
around I used Tire Rack to find H rated tires and came up with
P225/60HR-16 Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Symmetrical, which are
pretty good in the wet and in a slalom. Prices were reasonable, too.

Use them all year round (snow, etc.) in my daily driver.
