The third annual Targa California Rally is scheduled for April 7 ÔÇô 9, 2011. The Targa California is open to all 1975 and older sports and classic cars, and will tour some of CaliforniaÔÇÖs finest roads. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is one of the principal sponsors of the event, which will start just north of Los Angeles. The tour will then wind its way over and through mountain passes, canyons, and plateaus; up through parts of the central valley, then out to the coast. We drive as far north as the Carmel / Monterey area with stops for unique interests and lunch. Challenging roads with spring time vistas await. There are no check points, time limits, or trophies. Just plain fun camaraderie with 124 other car teams. Last year, several E-types participated in the event - a larger Jaguar showing would be great! The headquarters for Thursday and Friday nights is in Paso Robles. More information can be found at http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1220 or email targacaliforniaatgmail.com
