The weekend's schedule of events includes:

Friday, Sept. 5: At the Capitol Plaza Hotel: A meet and greet from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., in Topeka. (Rooms have been blocked out at the hotel for this event, too. Contact the Capitol Plaza at 785-431-7200 and mention SVTOA for more details.)

Saturday, Sept 6: Open track driving, an autocross and threshold braking, at Heartland Park. In addition, the SVT Product and Merchandise Display will be on hand so members can look over SVT's latest products and merchandise. We will be having a group dinner at the Topeka Steakhouse. Due to size constraints, we are limited to the first 85 people who sign up for the dinner. Just tell the operator (or check the box on the form) when you sign up. IMPORTANT NOTE: (All dinner charges incurred are the responsibility of the participant.)

Sunday Sept 7: An autocross, threshold braking and open track driving at Heartland Park.

Special Guest Saturday and Sunday: Andy Slankard of SVT will be at the track both days. He was a team member of the Gen 2 SVT Lightning and is Program Manager for the SVT Focus. Andy is originally from Kansas City and also a former Skip Barber driving instructor. It's not every day that you get the chance to chat with someone involved in the development of the vehicles that has brought us together for events like this. Come out and welcome him home for the weekend.

Of course, the fun of getting together with Fast Friends from SVTOA is an indispensable part of the SVTOA Fall Fling in the Heartland II, too.

If you've been to other clubs' track events you know this one is well worth the cost.

Register now by calling SVTOA Member Services Toll Free at 866-377-8862 or by mailing your registration form today.

See you On Track!
