The so call 100 low lead avgas (aviation gas) is not low lead. It has a high lead content. It is great though. My plane can sit for months and it will start right up.
But the best solution is run the car dry. Siphon out the old fuel and then run the car until the carbs or empty.
If you just add a stabilizer, pull the fuse on your fuel pump and run carbs dry.
The person that said ethanol is not a problem must be a Democrat working for the EPA. I left that crap in my pressure washer for the winter. It would not run the next year. Spray quick start in the carb and it would fire up and die. Put Av gas in the tank. And continue the starting until the AV gas had cleaned the crude out of the carb and it ran fine. This is a new pressure washer.
Bit what we need to do is get rid of Ethanol. Write your congressman.
