Hey guys, about to throw in the towel on staying original with my starter...have rebuilt it twice but the field coils are just too weak and once hot, not performing well. (assuming here that nobody knows where to get a new set of field coils)
Can anyone recommend what replacement starters (gear reduction?) they have installed and are running trouble free.
