Hi, We have a 95 6 cy XJS. It, of course, recommends a certain type of Champion Spark Plugs. I need new plugs and am wondering if any of the super new plugs would improve performance and/or gas milage. Has anyone tried any of the great modern plugs on this car? Would love to hear from you.

Still looking for assistance on my dim light problem, discussed elsewhere - any thoughts would we appreciated.

What I am talking about are plugs that were not available when the modern XJS 6 Cy. such as irridium, Bosch, NGK special tips, etc. In other words, all things being equal, a better mouse trap has been developed, so the question is should those be retrofited. Tires are a good example, we want the latest and the best, and that is what we fit when the right size are avilable, rather than tires that were available when the car was first produced.
