We in the Northwest esp BC Mainland, are being plauged by local keepers of the empty parking areas..........they either want us to go away or pay an exorbitant amount of money for us to run basically a low speed slalom.....another demand is 2.5 times our current insurance coverage provided by JCNA..... Really everyone signs a waver, so who is going to sue for more than 2 mill anyway......We had a chance earlier this year to run locally and then because we had not applied 30 days ahead of time our event was declared null and void....... Actions such as this in dire times as we are experiencing are not helping slalom participation at all....CXKJR has now listed 3 different locations for their slaloms, so we are not alone in this predicament...... I believe the 30 day advance Slalom sanctioning needs revisiting .... perhaps 10 days in advance would help us in times like these. I am also encountering a problem for listing fresh dates for 7th June....still not sure where we will end up, so Houston we have a problem.
