The judging rules effectively define what are Cheney type clamps, which are no longer available as new items (Only used could be applied, if available). The closest new item is Jubilee available from SNG Barratt and perhaps elsewhere. However, the Jubille clamps have a tightening screw with a hex head not round. These Jubilee clamps do satisfy the design requirements in terms of strength and fit. Are the Jubilee clamps valid as replacement parts? Or, must one obtain used Cheneys to satisfy Concourse requirements?

Series I E-Type Cooling Hose Clamps
Dave: Buy a recent issue of Hemmings Motor news and try to find a jaguar from that decade being parted out. Doesn't have to be an E-Type either as I pulled many a Cheney clamp from an old Saloon!

Series I E-Type Cooling Hose Clamps
I have searched e- bay to no avail. Are there other sources for Cheney clamps?
Are the Cheney clamps supposed to be plated? If so, what type of plating?
