I removed and rebuilt all 4 carburetors, and after bolting the back drivers side on, I find the front drivers side will not go on separately unless I remove the piece that comes from the exhaust up between the carburetors and tee's and goes into the top of each carburetor. Anyone that's struggled putting the nuts and washers on a carburetor, understands that the last thing I want to do is remove the back carburetor and put both on as one piece. There is a screw on the top of each pipe where it goes into the top of the carburetor, and if you remove them the pipes will not pull out of the top of the carburetor. All the screws do is access the inside of the pipe. If I can get the pipes off, I can bolt both carburetors on separately and alot easier, then put the pipes from each end of the tee into the top of the carburetors and then hook that pipe up to the fitting under the carburetor that goes to the exhaust. How can I remove the pipes from the top of the carburetor? Thanks, Jerry Nutt
