Joseph, the plot thickens. My red lenses are SAE A 68. The Amber/Red is SAE A 69 (My car is a 69)
But the other thing is that the underside of my light is split horizontally which is better paired with the Amber/Red. If someone told me it was common for the horizontal split but with red lenses slapped on I would believe it but I havn't seen anything like that. Here's a pic of my "bulb fixture" for lack of a better word. Hummmmm. Was it smashed to smithereans after purchase and then replaced later with a fixture from a different model? Its possible but my Great Uncle (87 years young this Sunday and owner #1) doesn't remember. I'm having fun with this little anomaly.
Also - I've seen the ELAN retrofit...I like it too. :)
