My 1964 Series 1 emergency brake has not worked for a longtime.
I had the car on a lift and actuated the hand lever and observed that cable moved at the rear. However I could not see the actual mechanism function at the IRS.
My question to the forum is there a cable adjustment at the front of the hand brake, because there is no provision at the rear for stretching.
Also for ease of repair, has anyone actually cut the sheet metal by the blind brake assembly to repair.
Simular to removing the starter on early Jags being unable to get to the bottom bolt and cutting a door inside the car for removal.
