Thanks for information! I will try the code for my radio and someone on jag-lovers suggested that I check with coventry west and if I give them my VIN number they may be able to give me the code. I will keep trying. I did find out today through the dealership where my car was purchased - a service technician that was there in 88 was still working there, he was very helpful as in letting me know that my security system did not come with the car that it was aftermarket. We also were told by a jag-lovers to unhook it that it was no value. My XJ-SC is also a V12 and has the Targa top (T top with convertible). Thanks, Jenny
