Steven, I am new to this site and my jaguar. When you say you went to the archives and researched, how do I do that. The original owner is deceased and I would like to know if the gold package he purchased was factory or aftermarket. I have the original window sticker and his bill of sell -- the car practically came with everything the factory offered and the distributor was Jaguar Cars, Inc in NJ and the car was sold by Warren Henry Auto in Miami. He ordered xtra: the gold package which included the Nardi Steering wheel, custom wheel, gold stripe and hood emblem which were all gold). Also he ordered the electronic security system which was aftermarket, and body side moldings/door edge guards, protective paint sealant, and plush floor mats (which are gone).

I want new rims (I do not like the gold ones!) was the starfish rims the original or were there different styles before I purchase. I found some starfish rims on this site and will be looking at them Fri or Sat.

If you can direct me in how to look up my car that would be great. Also another guy on here that has the rims called me yesterday and he said someone had done the research on this style and has all the numbers as to how many are produced even down to colors, etc., said he thought it was on CD..do you know about this? He will call me back if he finds the source.

Thanks, Jenny XJ-SC 1988 Cabriolet
