Hi everyone-

I'm always looking at E-Types for sale and have recently reached out to inquire on two separate e-types from the classified section. The 2nd one is currently up there right now. It's the Maroon 68, S1.5 with a hard top. I received this response from the seller. This is essentially the EXACT same highly questionable, red siren response I received from the 1st e-type that was for sale on JCNA about 3 weeks ago.

"The car is located in Washington at the shipping company warehouse ready for delivery once i have an agreement with a buyer. It had been a pleasure if we would had the chance to meet or call you but i work as a engineer on a oil rig with no GSM signal and i can;t take your calls for the moment. I want to mention the car is in good condition, running condition and you can drive it for years with no repairs. Because i can't conduct the sale in person i've searched the best option for both of us and i want to close the deal through Google Wallet purchase protection program.if you need more details about it let me know and see the below link with the car pics. thanks

Yea, I know, the impeccable grammer is a dead give a way, but.... Upon reviewing the pictures, I see the Car # 1E16090 on the chassis. I pop over to XKE data and it pops up and theres a link to the Ebay page where the car sold for $65,100 in Nov 2014 --previous owner of 44 years, Mike Norris.

Now, the car pops up with the same pictures on the JCNA site with a new price of $29,600 (nice round number). The sellers name is Christian Nizic and HE claims to have owned the car for the same 44 year period as Mike Norris. May wonders never cease!

Just wanted everyone to know that the site is being targeted by scammers. 99.5% of us would recognize this for what it is but someone in the initial throws of "I want an XKE" madness might make the mistake of sending this crackerjack a deposit.

Hopefully theres something webmaster can do to pull this particular car off.

If I was a betting man, I'd say this guy is probably a proponent of E10 gasoline as well...bad people. ;-)
