I am in the process of changing my tensioners as preventive maintenance. I have ordered most of the cam specific special tools such as:Crankshaft Setting Tool, 2 of the Camshaft Valve Setting Tool, Primary Timing Chain Wedge and Timing Chain Tensioner Tool. To remove the crankshaft pulley it looks like I need 3 more tools:
1. Front Pulley Holding Wrench 303-191
2. Front Pulley Lock Adaptor 303-191-02
3. Crankshaft Pulley Damper Remover 303-588
I am surprised that there is only one place to obtain these tools. Does anyone have some generic options that work as well as the speciality tools? It is hard to tell if Snap-On or MAC have the correct ones.
Looking for suggestions.
