I am finishing restoration of 73 e type dhc with low miles and read with horror in jcna journal about the car theft. Any recommendations about best alarm and immobilized and car tracker would be appreciated

Peter a well mounted LOJACK or similar device is your best bet. Classic car thieves are not worried by alarms (who pays attention to car alarms anymore) and they are not bothered by devices which render the car inop. They simply cart it away and let the shop fix the issue. However if a tracking device is well hidden you have a chance if the theft is noticed in time. Best of luck and let us see your car please!
