Even thought I'm not sure I will enter my E-type in Driven again this year (the lazy part of me think Display is more fun...) I was trying to verify some details and realized there is very little information when it comes to certain details... Despite all the books I have, it's still a hit or miss thing and in driven, I'm not even concerned about the engine compartment.
I often come across posts or emails from people asking others for pictures of certain details to make sure they get it right.
There's been talk about authenticity guides which is a huge task and I was wondering if a visual guide, on line, wouldn't be helpful, and this would be certainly easier to do.
The idea would be to take high points cars, which are as close as we can get to a judge's idea of perfection, and take a large number of detailed digital pictures which would then be available on the site.
As a final check, it would be easy for a group of JCNA judge to review these so that notes could be added or aditional pictures could be taken to correct what's not right.
Just a thought... comments anyone ?
