A question from an ignoramus like myself:

Are there such things as trophies for regional champions? Take the theoretical example of a competitor who entered his/her Jaguar in 3 shows in 2001. This competitor finished say, fourth an the national scene but the scores were good enough for first place regionally. Now, I don't believe there is a trophy (award, plaque, certificate) for fourth place nationally, but would this person receive anything formal for having finished first regioanlly?

Well, nothing stops you from driving your trailer queen... you just have to work twice as hard after. Jerry Wise drove his national champ s1 E at VIR a few months ago.

This is outrageous! I did not realize that regional awards were not presented in the driven division. Even though many think that my SS is a "trailer queen", I enjoy driving here regularly when conditions permit. Jaguars were meant to be driven. Why are those who choose to experience the ultimate enjoyment of their Jaguars being penalized?

North American Award recipients ( the top 3 in each class ) do not receive regionals. Therefore, the 4th place guy would, based on his best TWO scores (instead of 3 for NA).

Only championship division though, no regional for driven
