Rick I think you will find the balancer has been changed to one from a later car from around 1970 or later. The timing marks were moved to the side (drivers on a LHD) If your marks are at about 10 or 11 o'clock on that side that is what has happened. You can get the correct balancer or get the later timing marks to use. Good Luck
