Re.: Seat Belt Alarm Interlock

Seat belt problem with my 1974 E Type OTS.

I have had the seat belt warning interlock disconnected on both seats for many years. All of a sudden, the passenger seat triggers the alarm and the car will not start until the belt is engaged.

Any suggestions of how and where to trace the obvious short.
