If Dye hasn't found it ,it is time to use a "sniffer". Since no one has seen a dye leak I suspect either the evaporator has an issue (you will not see the dye) or the fuel cooler has an internal leak (ask me how I know. To sniff the fuel cooler you will have to put the sniffer in the tail pipes. They can crack internally and the Freon is consumed through the engine--but will still register--you should not run the engine of course when doing this. Best of luck---several thousand dollars?

This is in reply to the person considering removing their A/C system
All you have to do is disable the AC clutch, one wire to the compressor. If you still have noise or squeaks look to the AC drive belt When you sell the car, in the future, the buyer will want AC and discount his offer by the cost of repair. I would fix it myself. Put Enviro-safe in the system with disclosure dye. Find the leak . Repair it or use a sealer. Then enjoy your AC and charge the buyer full dollar. By the way that Enviro-safe cost only five or six dollars a can. Freon goes for fifty dollars a pound and you can't buy it!
