Well, nothing at all wrong with trying to find the leak, which maybe is who knows where, since I have had several folks look at it and no one has come up with anything but a bill for freon ;-) Apparently it can leak in LOTS of places and the dye hasn't shown anything to fix yet. Fill it up and it lasts for about 2-3 days with good A/C and then gone, gone, gone. I am not a fan of spending several thousand dollars to search out and maybe fix. Now as for your second question, that is actually why I asked the dumb question since I knew that nothing is ever simple, ie "fuel cooler". Looks like I need to read a bit on that since I have absolutely no idea what that is...unless it is the cigar tube shape pipe on top of the left side of the manifolds.
