Re.: Jaguar XJS Interior Space

I own a 1997 Jaguar XK8 convertible and would like to add a XJS convertible. I have driven a 1990 but found it to be tighter on driver space than my XK8.

Was there any particular year(s) where the XJS had more interior driver space for shoulder and headroom in the convertible or coupe?
