If your ignition light is going on and off, and the 3AW device is not connected at all (as far as I can see from the photo), you must have something else connected to the ignition warning lamp, other than the 3AW. Since your alternator has been replaced with the unit you mention, I imagine that it uses a different method than the original to drive the ignition warning light. The original alternator dove the ignition light via the 3AW device. The AL terminal on the alternator was connected using a Brown/Yellow wire to the AL terminal on the 3AW. The WL terminal on the 3AW was connected to the Warning Light using a Brown/Black wire. The E terminal on the 3AW was connected to ground using a black wire. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the replacement alternator you mentioned. I suggest you try to determine what the ignition warning light is connected to, and go from there.
