1990 xjs v12, flucuating idle after high idle kicks down. Left bank sucking air through intake plenum. If you cover the snorkle on the airfilter assembly, it will idle fine. There is alot of suction, and it is only on the left bank. Car ran fine before, but been sitting for almost two years.

I also have an unsettled idle and a car of the same model year. I also have no clue why this happens as yet. I hope we hear from others.
