I just got my JJ, read it cover to cover last night. Personally, I don't care for the emphasis currently put on articles about what Ford and Jaguar Cars are doing. Too much of it looks like promotional material provided by Jaguar. Mike's editorial and Paul Skilliter's article were fine, but the whole front part of the magazine looked like a brochure you'd find in a Jaguar showroom.
What I really love and what I'd love to see more of is what appeared from Mike's editorial on back. Stories about members, clubs and activities. Loved Art's article about the slalom. Steve Averill's article about his XJ6C -- great. The rest, wonderful.
There are enough commercial magazines out there supplying more than I care to know about the ins and outs at Ford/Jaguar. As a club magazine, what I hope to see is what is going on in the clubs, what people are doing around the country. I applaud Mike for the great job he is doing. Hopefully, people will contribute more than enough copy for Mike that he will not have the room to put any more promotional articles about the manufacturer in the magazine. MHO

P.S. -- Pascal, Love your photos and the way you use them in your club mag. Hope we can see some of them in JJ one of these days.
