I am pleased to report that plugs have been removed and the crankshaft has been cleaned. The stuff that came out was a gray gritty paste. Journals have been polished, measurements made and crank is now torqued in place with new bearings.
Thanks for the help on this one and standby for more adventures as this car gets put back together.
