Re: Choke issue . Don't forget to warm the engine up thoroughly before judging the choke function. There's a setting on the Stromberg throttle for "Winter" and "Summer" as well, which will make a slight difference ..but the air leaks are sure to be the problem .. The temperature in my garage these days is around 0 Fahrenheit, and the '71
OTS starts and runs well with the two Strombergs at full choke although it takes a long time with the choke at about half to keep it going (maybe 10 minutes) before it will idle by itself at a lower choke setting (maybe second or third notch)
