OWN76 XJ12C and 84 XJS

If concours rules (new) can allow for after market radios in DRIVEN class, why not all classes? I find it very unsatisfactory to drive my 76 around with a boom box in the back seat.
The "original" radi was a 8 TRACK piece of do do..!! ????

Bruce,

I hope you have recognized the main differences between Champion, Driven and the proposed Special Division. While the Entries in each of these divisions will be judged equally for condition and cleanliness, Champion Division Entries are to be held to the highest standards of originality and authenticity. At this juncture, it's very important that there be no exceptions to that goal. As a result, non-authentic radios will not be allowed in Champion Division without penalty.

Thanks for your participation. Be careful adjusting your back-seat boom-box from the front seat.

Well, my opinion is that cars in Championship Class should be "as they came from the factory" and keeping in that spirit, I agree that cars should have original factory radios.

I know they are not modern but that's the way they were delivered at the time they were new.

I am in favor of allowing non-stock or aftermarket radios in Driven Class as the changes have been proposed.
