During the recent hot weather my 87 V12 developed a tendance to get a might warm, so I chacked it out and discovered that the radiator fan wasn't running. After following the instructions in the "Book" I managed to get the fan running. A few weeks later The AC quit working and the fan has stopped as well. I suspect the diode pack. Any thoughts?
All wiring is back to normal.

My recollection on the earlier cars (don't quote me on this) is that the fan was not wired in conjunction with the AC. They were independent. In the later cars, the fan was wired to run whenever the AC was on, and when the AC was off, the fan was controlled by the Otter switch. The Book contains information on how to wire the fan relay so that the AC will trigger the relay and make the fan run.

Unless they are both on the same circuit and you blew the fuse, I think it's more coincidence than connection. The fan circuit should be fairly easy to trace out and test. Did you check the relay for power? If there is power at the relay, jump it and see if the fan runs. If it does, than either the Otter switch is bad or the relay is bad. Then check the relay for operation. If it works, than it's probably the Otter. If there is no power at the relay, than you need to look further up stream.

As for the AC, you're on your own on that one. I made it a point never to mess with that. But again, if it's a fuse or a relay, you might be able to trace that out yourself.
