To those interested, I ran my 1995 XJ-S V12 Coupe at Maxton, NC last weekend 30 Oct 04. Without even trying I ran 161.7 mph in the standing start 1 mile run. Had I turned the engine to 7500 in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd before going into 4 gear, we feel the car would have come close to 170 mph. Not bad for a 4200 lb car. What made it even more fun was the fact that 2 C4 Vettes were there and they could only manage the mid 140's.
