has anyone been brave (or stupid) enough to mount a gps unit in their jag xjs? i just replaced the am/fm cassette with a really nice alpine with bluetooth, satellite radio, etc but i want to install a large screen gps. i've been thinking about some sort of slip on bracket, straddling the clock, so i could have a removable, articulating arm to mount the gps, so it would be easy to take out.
i figure covering the clock when the gps is in use is not too much of a sacrifice.
am i in uncharted territory here?
