I just purchased a 1988 XJSC Cabriolet T Top. I am trying to figure out my security as well. Under my steering column I have a toggle switch and another square button that pushes...are these my security switches? Also my remote keys don't work...one lights up and the other does not (maybe batteries would help mine, the car has been sitting since 2009 in garage)...when I turn on the stereo, there is a security switch lights up and the stereo says CODE but I don't know a code.
