Plate Clip

Guys/Gals,

If, like me, you like your XK without a front plate, but your state requires one, here's a neat solution. I had this "plate clip" custom fabricated by a guy in CA (www.chairpilotproducts.com), whose specialty is actually Ferraris (this was his first Jag). The plate attaches/detaches in under a minute. Driving? Put it on. Parked (at a show, for example)? Take it off. He does great work and his communications with me during the whole process were great. Price was a bit steep at over $200, but for a show car which is also driven, this is just the ticket (and don't forget all the engineering and design work he put in - all from rough drawings I provided - and he managed a GREAT fit!).
