I was wondering if there are anyperformance upgrade for a 1996 XJ12? I would really like a ptuned exhaust for a bit meaner sound and maybe a throttle body

I had Keisler install larger throttle bodies on my 94 XJ12, and the results were very good. He also installed a larger exhaust system with no catalytics in the thing. Breathes good, will do 0-60 in 6.4 seconds, and sounds really nice!

I sent my "Y" pipe and the two over-the-axle pipes to Jet-Hot Coatings where they were coated and polished with their Sterling Nickel coating inside and outside. Being some sort of thermal coating, the exhaust temperature and the exhaust parts temperature was lowered, (really, it does work). Lot of Hot Rodders do it to their exhaust pipes. I left the rest stock, but replaced everything with new. AJ6 Engineering in England offers intake & exhaust performance improvements, but be prepared for the exchange rate. http://www.Jagweb.com/aj6eng
