Hi, I am about to have a set of pepper pots refinished.
I am wondering about two things, first was the original finish a powder coat?
Second, the colour. I want the colour to be spot on.
Is there a name for the specific shade or can I just trust the finisher to get it close and have no one notice?
Did the factory have a slight variation of shades?
I have three sets of Peppers that have original finish on them and they are all similar but perhps its an illusion but to me they are ever so slightly different. The came off of Series III XJ sedans from 1986 1989 and 1992.
