I have been told that I can find out what was the original color of my 1968 E-type FHC by contacting Jaguar Cars. Does anyone know how this is done?

Pull down your center instrument cluster (it hinges at the bottom) and look at the firewall. What color do you see?

go to the library (link in the nav bar) and click on link to Heritage Certificates.

Pulling down the center instrument panel usually works but if you want to contact the Jaguar Archives send an email to: mcook69
jaguar.com and tell Mike Cook you want a Heritage Certificate for your VIN#. It will have the original exterior color, interior color and boot color.
