This is a newbie question I know.....I solved my pretty bad PS leak (covered in another post) and have been watching my now clean and dry engine to see if anything else appeared...after 2 weeks a very slight drip from the metal pipe at the front of the upper pan has revealed itself on the floor. I don't know what this is or what it is called, so I am having a hard time looking for any seals etc. I assume it is an oil intake or output pipe going somewhere....ran out of daylight before I could trace it. I see that there are metal threads on the end of the pipe that might be leaking, and the four bolts holding the elbow connection to the oil pan have oil on their heads, so maybe there is another seal between the bolts and the elbow, or between that elbow device and the pan that might be bad. Any advice please? Thanks! It's no gusher but might as well fix it this winter for something to do....
