I have been changing my oil for many years now and I still have problems with serious leaks. I have been buying the filters and gaskets from the usual suspects but have been about 30% successful in having a tight connection..
My last purchase indicated that it was made in China ... leaked like a sieve.
I think the big problem is the main gasket that does not seat properly. It will slop around during the installation process.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
