I can concur with David. We rebuilt a '67 Series 1 Coupe with the Sacramento Jaguar Club. Despite a new filter and O-ring, it leaked like a sieve. After three more tries, we discovered an old petrified O-ring stuck deep into the groove. It wasn't apparent at first sight. A few minutes digging with a long screwdriver, and the problem was resolved.
