Hi, I'm a newbie here on the board. I purchased my first Jaguar ('95 XJ6) less than 24 hours ago, but I need to adjust the emergency brake so that it will pass inspection tomorrow. I've sent away for a workshop manual but who knows how long it will take to arrive. I've had experience adjusting emergency brake cables on MGs and Fiats, will the e-brake setup here be similar? Just hoping to gather as much info as possible before crawling under the car tonight. Thanks in advance! -Steve F.
